Fantasy hockey stock report: Vincent rising? Trocheck
This is it. We’ve reached the final days of the 2015-16 National
Hockey League regular season, but it’s never too late to scoop up free
agents to put you over the top. It’s also never too late to drop that
dead weight and right the ship.
Rising
— Florida Panthers center
has lit the lamp in four straight games, and he has six goals with 13
points with a plus-11 rating over the past 10 games. He has managed at
least three shots on goal in six of the past seven.
— Minnesota Wild center is in the midst of an eight-game point streak, posting three goals with
eight points and a plus-5 rating, including a plus-1 in five straight
outings.
— Calgary Flames goaltender is getting a chance and running with it. He is 2-1-1 with a 1.97
goals-against-average (GAA) with a .925 save percentage over his past
four appearances.
— Flames right winger has picked up the pace in the month of March, lighting the lamp seven
times while posting four assists over the past 12 outings. Although his
plus-minus rating is a hindrance, if you need some quick goals Colborne
comes on the cheap.
Falling
— Los Angeles Kings goaltende
has been roughed up lately, going 1-1-0 with 10 goals allowed in 133
minutes. While he is obviously not droppable, give serious consideration
to reserving him and his 4.51 GAA and .865 save percentage over his
past three appearances.
— Chicago Blackhawks defenseman
is scoreless with a minus-2 rating over his past nine games played. He
isn’t shooting the puck, he isn’t going to the penalty box, and he
hasn’t even helped with blocked shots lately.
— Washington Capitals right wing
is scoreless with a minus-1 rating over the past four games. The
Austrian has cooled, lighting the lamp just three times in the past 16
outings.
— As quickly as Ottawa Senators center
emerged as a fantasy option in February, he has faded in March. Since
March 1 he has just one goal with five points in 12 games, and three
assists came in one game March 12. He can no longer be trusted.
